Calm, restore, and rebuild compromised skin — without stripping the barrier

Inflammatory skin conditions share a common core: a compromised skin barrier and chronic immune overreaction. In rosacea, persistent facial redness, flushing, and visible vessels result from vascular hyper-reactivity. In perioral dermatitis, small papules cluster around the mouth, nose, and eyes — often triggered by topical steroids, heavy cosmetics, or fluoride. In chronic sensitivity, the barrier is chronically impaired, making the skin reactive to seemingly mild products. All three share inflammation as the primary driver, and conventional treatments often thin the skin further, worsening the cycle.
The protocol addresses inflammation and barrier repair simultaneously through two mechanisms. Ozone plasma (70–80°C) is applied to affected areas. Its ozone gas is a powerful antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agent; it oxidizes surface pathogens and calms immune overreaction without thermal damage to healthy tissue. This is critical for compromised skin — the goal is not to peel or burn, but to reduce the bacterial and inflammatory load that perpetuates the condition. Hyper plasma (30–35°C) follows, applied to the entire face or affected region. It alters surface polarity, increases cellular permeability, and accelerates the skin's own repair mechanisms. This dual-action — targeted anti-inflammatory ozone plus barrier-supporting hyper plasma — creates an environment where the skin can rebuild its protective lipid layer and reduce reactivity over time.
This is a progressive, cumulative protocol — results improve session by session. The key is consistency, not intensity. Patients must avoid known triggers during treatment: alcohol, hot beverages, sun exposure, and steroid creams. For perioral dermatitis, discontinue all topical steroids and fluoridated toothpaste before starting. Home care with a minimal, barrier-supporting routine is essential to maintain results.
